Drenched Literature
One person team really! I’m Furug! I buy
book obsessively, I read them at a passionate pace. I draw- not as good as I would like to.
I used to act- better than I have ever drawn. I write disturbingly, hoping to be published one day. I’m essentially a creative working in retail and am surrounded by others who are exactly on the same boat. I’m hoping that we can create this beautiful thing together.
With not much of a history behind us,
our goal is to look into the future.
As Drenched Literature, we are here
to support any individual with any background who has a desire to put
their work out on display. We want to
help artists who are unsure about how
to get published, seen and recognised.
We want to create a free platform where
we share our creations with each other.
At the heart of this establishment, we are a quarterly magazine. Every season, we will be
coming up with a new theme and creating our
works around that theme. Most submissions
within the guidelines will be added to the
digital issue whereas a select group of
creations will also be included in our printed
issue.
We also want to give other artists who are
outside the guidelines or the themes a chance.
So, everyone will get the opportunity to
submit their works for publication. These
works will be printed in zine format with
special binding and custom made covers and
put on the website for sale. All profits
will go to the artists.
